Along the Lines ist ein Genre-übergreifendes Abtasten: die beiden Künstlerinnen aus Musik und Literatur interpretieren improvisiert die Werke der Ausstellung Tschak Boom und lassen ephemere Kunst inspiriert von Kunst live und einmalig entstehen.
Sophie Abraham
Kammermusikalisch. Solistisch. Programmatisch. Leidenschaftlich. Die 1986 geborene Cellistin Sophie Abraham komponiert, interpretiert und improvisiert entlang musikalisch-kreativer Grenzüberschreitungen. Zwischen Klassik, zeitgenössischen Kompositionen und experimentellen Klanglandschaften. Im radio.string.quartet, im Trio Frühstück, mit Julia Lacherstorfer und in ihren Soloprogrammen.
Jana Volkmann
Geboren 1983 in Kassel, „an unlovely town north of Frankfurt destroyed by Allied bombs in World War II“ (The New York Times). Lebt seit 2012 in Wien. Als Autorin schreibt sie Prosa und Lyrik. Diverse Veröffentlichungen, zuletzt: Auwald, Roman (Verbrecher Verlag 2020), sowie Investitionsruinen, Gedichte, mit Zeichnungen von Jörn Peter Budesheim (Limbus 2021). Als Journalistin schreibt sie Essays und Rezensionen zum Beispiel für das Tagebuch und den Freitag.

Along the Lines is a genre-crossing exploration: the two performing artists from the genres of music and literature improvise interpretations of the works in the exhibition and create ephemeral art inspired by art.
Sophie Abraham
Chamber music. Soloistic. Programmatic. Passionate. Born in 1986, cellist Sophie Abraham composes, interprets and improvises along musically creative border crossings. Between classical music, contemporary compositions and experimental soundscapes. In the radio.string.quartet, in the trio Frühstück, with Julia Lacherstorfer and in her solo programmes.
Jana Volkmann
Born in 1983 in Kassel, “an unlovely town north of Frankfurt destroyed by Allied bombs in World War II” (The New York Times). Lives in Vienna since 2012. As an author, she writes prose and poetry. Various publications, most recently: Auwald, novel (Verbrecher Verlag 2020), and Investitionsruinen, poems, with drawings by Jörn Peter Bundesheim (Limbus 2021). As a journalist, she writes essays and reviews, for example for the Tagebuch and the Freitag.
