The topic of his theoretical research as a PhD student is the problem of drawing in the context of the evolution of fine arts in the Republic of Moldova. The central subject of his oil paintings is the image of stairs, using the composition as visual conceptualization in the context of contemporary art, of one of the oldest symbols of human civilization, with their philosophical, religious, and historical meaning.
